| New turnkey casitas available at Montecristo
Over the last few months, we've worked with our architects and interior designers to come up with something quite unique. A new release of single family homes - or casitas - with romantic floor-plans, splash pools and an extreme attention to detail in the finishing.
 The casitas are a twist on our lot/home packages. We wanted to offer a no-hassle, turnkey experience for a great price. Just select your site and floor plan and in 3-4 months we'll hand over the key. You'll be able enjoy your house right away or put it into our rental pool.
Choose from different sites at Montecristo
We've hand-picked several sites for the casitas - on a hill in bestselling Cumbres, nestled between the golf course and the ocean at Costa Azul and steps away from the town center at Valle del Mar. Choose from a location right on the beach, a site with a view of the bay and crashing waves or a green valley vista.
All our casitas will include a pool with a seat and jacuzzi sprays, granite kitchen countertops, solid wood cabinets, doors and trims, kitchen bar seating with overhead glass tray and all come standard with appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave, stacking washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, Bose surround sound system, DVD players and split air conditioners).
Three floor-plans are available - from 931 sq ft. one bedroom to a 1,270 sq ft. model with two beds and two baths. The casitas are carefully landscaped for privacy and sit on their own deeded (fee simple) home sites. | We're so excited about our new house models, and the work Mike is doing on the golf course and our new releases. This championship-caliber course - designed by award-winning architect Mike Young - will stretch for 7,060-yards past river and ocean, climbing up into the mountains for breathtaking ocean views along the back nine. With over 300 feet of elevation change, this par-71 will be as challenging as it is beautiful.
Young's designs have garnered much acclaim in the sport. His courses have been nominated as some of the "Best New Courses in America" by Golf Digest and the Audubon Signature Sanctuary Program. At the waterfront, Costa Azul boasts a mile-long stretch of sandy beach, featuring Montecristo’s prime surfing spot near the mouth of Rio Soledad. Once construction is complete, involvement in an Audubon Signature Program ensures that managers apply sustainable resource management practices in long-term stewardship of the property. This is an ongoing process that will dictate how the community and golf course operate after completion of construction. Mike Young, our golf course architect, is a member of the Audubon International Golf Advisory Council. He said: "Presently we are in the Audubon Signature program working towards obtaining gold status at the opening of the project.
