Located on 2000 acres on the breathtaking Pacific coastline the community of Montecristo lies approximately 38 miles north of the capital city of Managua.

Each of its six neighborhoods has its own characteristic flair, but come together to form a cohesive community offering amenities, luxuries and social activities you won’t find in any other development.

Community activities range from water sports, golf, tennis and horseback riding, there is a community library, art and salsa lessons.

Home to the community’s lively beach club, along with tennis courts and an equestrian center is Montecristo’s fourth neighborhood Costa Azul.

At the waterfront, Costa Azul boasts a mile-long stretch of sandy beach, featuring Montecristo’s prime surfing spot near the mouth of Rio Soledad.

This is an ongoing process that will dictate how the community and golf course operate after completion of construction.

Mike Young, our golf course architect, is a member of the Audubon International Golf Advisory Council. He said: "Presently we are in the Audubon Signature program working towards obtaining gold status at the opening of the project.  This status is only awarded to courses and developments that begin the process before construction."
